Aldebaran de Viajero and Farai Borde at Cheshire Farms
Needing a break from the weather, and paperwork involved in running the Cheshire Farm's European operation, Farai Borde decided at the last minute to pack up Alde, and head to their Wellington location, just in time for the Wellington Dressage Classic.
Alde was the first horse Farai ever bred. He is by her first mare, Jamia de Viajero, now deceased, and the PRE stallion One Tempi, owned by Wyn Oakleigh of Cheshire Farms. It was through this breeding that Farai Borde came to work for Cheshire Farms. 12 Years later, Alde is now a successful Fourth Level dressage stallion.
Today is the first day of Summer, officially, however it's felt like summer for weeks now in Florida. Farai decided it was time for a beach day, and took Alde on a nice walk along their private trail which lead directly to the beach.
(Dory, the Blue Tang, is not native to Florida Waters, but at the time of painting this, her movie was released in theaters.)
